Is there VAT on funeral flowers?
The following goods and services are exempt from VAT when provided by an undertaker or funeral director as part of a funeral package that includes the disposal of the remains of the dead: supply of a coffin.

How do you secretly send flowers?
The signature in the card is the only way for the recipient to find out the sender of the flowers. If you don’t mind delivering the flowers secretly to the recipient, order the flowers online and send them to yourself. Then leave them somewhere your loved one will find them.
What happens if flowers are delivered and no one is home?
If the recipient is not at the delivery address to receive their flowers, a card will be left, marking the undelivered item as ‘perishable’ and requesting its collection. If it is appropriate to do so, deliveries may be left at a safe place deemed by the driver, either on the recipient’s property or with a neighbour.
